Our daughter is taking classes at the University (it sounds odd to say that after so many years as a college), but she is also continuing in some homeschool courses. A lovely coincidence this year is that she is required to read In His Steps for one of her homeschool English courses AND for her father's American History course at the university. He assigns the class a portion of the book each week, and they then have a quiz on that portion each Friday. This isn't typically his approach, but he wants the class to read in such a way that the meaning of the book will sink in. He also has this course read Chuck Colon's Born Again. I know of a young man who came to a saving knowledge of the Lord by reading that book. A wonderful benefit shared by both home education and a college with a Biblical foundation is that the material will honor the Lord and bring the students closer to Him.
If you haven't read this book, I hope you will take the time to do so.
God bless you all this week.
